Helping the largest pharmaceutical company in Europe has become an important step forward for both cachéquality and Roche's software
With more than 1 million of lines of code, Roche had the challenge to improve its software, reduce investment in maintenance, prevent future errors, have a tool to manage the risk and help on decision making. The integration of cachéQuality with SonarQube has allowed to achieve that target and work in a shorter time to market.
The efforts to find possible bugs and achive a better software maintenance are driven in base of the rules appliance. This focus reduces the spare time in looking for problems or detecting code that can have coding errors. The SonarQube platform enables automatic detection of bugs and provides an opportunity to fix them before rolling software out to production, thereby avoiding the risk of unexpected business disruption.
